About the role

Are you a passionate engineer with a love for motorsport? Have you ever considered how some of the best racetracks in the world are designed and delivered? We are currently seeking a creative and enthusiastic Engineer to join our team creating world class racetracks and motorsport destinations!

Key Responsibilities

•  As a Racetrack Design Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to create innovative and challenging racetrack layouts that will push drivers and vehicles to their limits.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and architects to develop motorsport destinations that meet safety standards and provide exhilarating racing and user experiences.
  • Using Autodesk Civil 3D to develop the 2D and 3D designs of racetracks.
  • Using our inhouse DIL driving simulator to test your design in the gaming environment to make improvements to the drivability of the circuits.
  • Attend workshops and site visits around the world to meet clients, assess sites and discuss projects.
  • Attend client meetings and produce design reports to articulate your ideas.
  • Calculations/estimates of materials quantities under supervision from the Design Director

Key Requirements

• A minimum 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering (a degree in automotive and mechanical engineering would also be considered).
• An avid interest in motorsport, coupled with a willingness to immerse yourself in the industry, a creative mindset, and a keen eye for detail.
• A willingness to travel overseas, generally for short periods as project requirements dictate.
• A keen eye for detail and willingness to improve.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or AutoCAD software is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Matlab preferred (but not essential).
