For 2021, a new chapter awaits, as Racing Point becomes Aston Martin F1 Team – marking sixty years since this iconic brand last raced in Formula 1 as a factory team. To succeed in its mission, the team is looking for talented individuals who share our passion for racing and competition.
What will the apprentice be doing?
The role will be split with 9 months in one position in a Sales Ledger Role, followed by 9 months in a second position as Business Partner Support Role.
One role is to ensure that the Team’s sales ledger is maintained, working with the commercial team to ensure that invoices are raised in line within agreed timescales. In addition, this role has responsibility for cashbook accounting, administration of petty cash, involvement in the VAT return preparation, preparation and submission of intrastat reporting, monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other ad-hoc tasks.
The other role is to support the Finance Business Partner with providing the team with accurate and insightful financial analysis and forecasting in order to improve decision making capabilities.
