Control Systems Test Engineer – The Role

The core responsibility of this position will provide support on behalf of the Control Systems Group to the testing of sub-assemblies, gearboxes and powertrains. Based in the Controls, Simulation and Modelling group at Enstone, the role will involve running the transmission and powertrain dynos to achieve test programmes and supporting the testing and sign-off of sub-systems which require testing on dynos and rigs. You will be required to provide analysis of data generated during dyno tests, generate test documentation and reports and contribute to the development of the dyno control system.

Electronics Systems Engineer – The Person

The ideal candidate be a University Graduate in a STEM discipline, with a good general technical engineering knowledge, and a minimum of three years’ professional experience in an engineering role in the motorsport sector. Having a good knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow with knowledge of McLaren Applied’s hardware and off-car tools (SECU, ATLAS, System Monitor) will be key.
