“The framework to get more replies by writing LESS”
I created the course I wish I’d had: How to write messages that make it effortless for busy people to help you
My early messages to industry professionals were dreadful.
I stuffed everything into one message – my entire background, every qualification, three paragraphs about passion. Maybe even four! Then buried what I actually wanted at the end.
Most got ignored.
Around a year into the Formula Careers project, my inbox started filling up with 50+ messages every week. Suddenly I was on the receiving end of my own old mistakes.
2,000-word essays. Buried asks. Vague “any advice?” requests.
I wanted to help – but when I had to spend 5+ minutes just figuring out what someone needed, I physically couldn’t reply to everyone.
That’s when I realised: the problem wasn’t lack of passion or qualifications. It was friction.
Once I started removing friction from MY OWN messages, I started getting replies from engineers, strategists hiring managers and more from right across the industry.
Now I use this exact framework all the time to message motorsport professionals. And inside Motorsport Communication Fundamentals, I’m showing you exactly how to do the same.
