Your Role

To provide operational HR & Recruitment support to the business, working with pace to enable our teams to attract, retain and engage our talent. A true generalist role.

Key Deliverables

  • Deliver the end-to-end employee lifecycle, driving efficiencies and improvements
  • Evolve, deliver and own our Recruitment processes
  • Own and take accountability for the end-to-end administration for the whole employee lifecycle, with support of the People Advisor
  • Advise our people managers, enabling them to lead their people brilliantly
  • Contribute to the strategic People plan, delivering key projects and initiatives to enable our people to achieve our organisational vision and mission


What You Will Be Doing


  • Responsible for accurately inputting employee amendments within the payroll system and conducting thorough checks of payroll reports
  • Supporting of annual payroll processes (P11D, PSA Declaration)
  • Key point of contact with external payroll provider and key senior internal stakeholders

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage multiple recruitment campaigns through the hiring cycle, from campaign planning and advertising to selection and offer, ensuring an excellent experience for both hiring managers and candidates throughout
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies to support with senior and specialist vacancies, reviewing and negotiating contract terms
  • Drafting offer paperwork, including offer letters and contracts, and making offers to successful candidates, negotiating where necessary
  • Owning right to work process for candidates, including visas and certificates of sponsorship
  • Deliver onboarding activity, including coordination of induction plans, carrying out new starter inductions and leading on new starter buddy program

Generalist HR & Project Work:

  • Ensure all trackers and administration for the entire employee lifecycle are completed effectively and efficiently
  • Benefits management and administration of multiple initiatives
  • Updating and maintaining the HRIS, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
  • Provide commercial and pragmatic advice and guidance to key stakeholders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Provide expert advice and support to business leaders
  • Managing Occupational Health referrals
  • Advise on and administer maternity and paternity policies and applications
  • Managing and monitoring People and Recruitment team inboxes, responding to any queries or problems and managing expectations
  • Provide advice, guidance and support with employee relations activity including notetaking in investigation meetings
  • Contribute to delivering performance review process; support with calibration meetings, leading administration of letters and assist with distribution and internal updating of any changes
  • Updating policies and procedures where required
  • Drive the Formula E culture of inclusivity through support and development of associated People practices
  • Providing support to wider People team to drive initiatives, working closely with the Office and Travel teams.


What We Are Looking For

Experience required:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercially focused and solutions orientated
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Previous administration experience
  • Understanding of HR processes, with the ability to put new processes in place and identify opportunities for improvement within existing processes
  • Previous experience in an operational sport, leisure or hospitality business desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of payroll and pensions desirable, but not essential

  • Strong administration, organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solver with exceptional excellent attention to detail
  • Resilient under pressure, adapts to change and uses support networks to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Integrity and the ability to act with confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fast paced and delivery focused, a true starter finisher
  • A positive can-do attitude and a passion for working as part of a team
