Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

We have a new opportunity to be part of the Electronics team in the role of Junior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in the design of the mechanical aspects of various electronic assemblies and packaging on our car electrical installation. The scope of work will include: generating efficient CAD schemes for electrical harnesses and enclosures, producing both assembly drawings and technical drawings for mechanical and composite components along with required tooling.

The successful candidate must have the following attributes

• An excellent degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Motorsport engineering
• Be able to demonstrate an innovative, practical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail
• Be highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule and thrive under pressure
• Experience of an industry standard CAD package, Catia preferable
• Previous design experience in a similar role highly desirable
• An understanding of GD & T would be advantageous
