Your Role

Reporting to the Catering Manager, the role will support the planning and operational delivery of all on site catering elements for the following products: EMOTION CLUB, the most premium race day hospitality offered at Formula E races; Race Suites, individual client hospitalities, Team & Crew Catering, a space in which Teams, Suppliers & Staff come to unwind, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Team Services, a dedicated personal delivery service to Teams & Suppliers, and Media Centre, the home for our local and global media.

Key Deliverables

To support the Catering Manager/s in planning, operational and administrative duties, both in the planning phase and onsite at events.

What You Will Be Doing


  • Support the Catering Manager with administrative duties in the lead up to each race, including; liaising with local catering partners, communications to internal departments such as the Hospitality team or Track & Overlay, writing and formatting all menus, ensuring correct allergens are included.
  • Compiling pre and post-race reporting to the Catering Manager & Senior Catering Manager.
  • Managing event documents & portals as well as supporting with meetings & minutes for internal stakeholders as well as external contractors & partners.
  • Liaison with all other operational departments to ensure the pre planning of all allocated races including; Track & Overlay, Power, Health & Safety and Event Project Management.
  • Acting as a POC for the wider catering team for race specific enquiries or requests.
  • Supporting the team with tasks such as uniforms and booking training.
  • Support the Catering Manager with budget management, including raising Purchase Orders, tracking expenditure and reconciling finances post-race for catering partners as well as Teams & Partners.
  • Supporting the Catering Manager with administration whilst they are away at a Catering Manager counterpart race, ensuring noting is missed for upcoming races.


  • Supporting the Catering Manager on-site with the local catering partners for delivery of all Hospitality catering, (including: EMOTION CLUB, Race Suites and on-site ancillary events), Team + Crew catering, Team garage catering and Media center catering.
  • Supporting in the planning and delivery of any Partner & Sponsor products, such as beer or champagne.
  • On-site problem solving to help deliver successful races, including accreditation queries, delivery scheduling and receipt, last-minute requests.

Health & Safety:

  • Support in the review and collation of all HACCP documents, Health and Safety, Food Safety and procedures from all relevant catering partners on site, in collaboration with the Technical and H&S Manager and Senior Health and Safety Manager.
  • Support in ensuring all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to for any relevant race locations.
  • Work closely with the sustainability team and Catering Team along with each local caterer to pre-plan and conduct all ISO reports on site, including kitchen and Food Safety audits.

What We Are Looking For

Experience required:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Catering Planning & Operations for large scale, green field events

Knowledge required:

  • International event experience, along with Motorsports experience would be beneficial.

Skills and aptitudes required:

  • Must possess a creative flare
  • A passion for F&B, operational excellence and work well under pressure.
  • Must work well as part of a team.


  • Willingness to travel – this role involves extensive travel across the calendar
